6. An Evening Of Burlesque, The Sands Centre, May 29
A scintillating and provocative night out of sparkling entertainment, the UK's longest running Burlesque show is back touring the nation and it's bigger than ever, with tickets available online.
7. Dirty Tattooed Circus, Old Fire Station, May 29
Two dangerous Irishmen doing dangerous things for a laugh in the adult only cabaret starring Ireland's fun-est circus performers: Martin Mor, and Logy Logan, if Cirque Du Soleil met Motorhead this is what you would get.
8. The Drowsy Chaperone, Stanwix Theatre, May 27
Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Original Score, The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving send-up of the Jazz Age musical, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another.
9. Stanwix Jubilee Jamboree, Stanwix Community Centre, May 28
Come and celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee on the 29th May with a baking competition, a picnic, games and more.
10. Carlisle and Border Art Society Exhibition, Tullie House, running until May 28
Free art exhibition on display featuring a variety of topics, forms, and disciplines, and comes from mainly amateur artists, however, some professionals have taken part as well - with all funds raised going to Tullie House.
