IT’S not a jump to say that Fusion Carlisle Trampoline Park is one of the most fun businesses that the city has on offer.
The family-business bounced onto the scene in 2016, after a successful run out of their original business in Preston.
Director Steve Jeffery, who worked his way up from the business’s inception, and said it has gone from "strength to strength".
"It’s been received really well by the entire community, everyone around us has been absolutely fantastic.
"Preston was voted the rainiest city in the UK, but I don’t think Carlisle will be too far off it, so it’s great to have something on offer for people indoors,” he said.
Covid restrictions stifled the business’ growth, but Steve said it’s coming back stronger than ever.

"A lot of people have had pent-up energy after Covid, especially when it comes to kid’s birthday parties, when kids haven’t been able to celebrate one properly for two years.
"It’s great to see regulars come back with a few extra years on them now, it’s been really refreshing.
"It’s just nice seeing smiles on people’s faces, especially as times are tough now. Being able to provide a facility for people to come together is rewarding enough as it is,” he said.
Steve was full of plaudits for the business owners, Bev and Steve Butterfield and Andy and Helen Ince for making the place such a passion project.
"Having those two families as owners is an absolute blessing because they are fantastic businessmen but also fantastic people,” he said.
Carlisle Fusion has over 100 individual trampolines, a dodgeball area, climbing wall, a huge air bag, ninja warrior, slam-dunk, cardio wall challenge to name a small few and will be introducing its new three storey soft-play zone in July - all of which are included in the entry price.
But that’s not where the exciting plans stop for the business.
"I have to keep it under wraps at the moment but we have something in planning we hope to be bringing next year, and that will be very, very big, so we’re really excited about it.
"As soon as we can share that news we will, but it should be fantastic,” he said.
