A CARLISLE shoplifter has admitted targeting the city’s B&M Bargains store in Wigton Road three times in one week.
Stewart Brown, 26, of Ridley Road, Currock, who has yet to be sentenced for his offending, appeared at the city’s Rickergate court and pleaded guilty to the following offences:
- Stealing alcohol and air fresheners of an unknown value from the B&M branch of the store on April 10.
- Stealing cleaning products – again of unknown value – on April 13.
- And stealing cleaning products worth £88 from the same store on April 16.
Magistrates adjourned sentencing until June 26 so that pre-sentence reports can be prepared.
In the meantime, the defendant was granted bail on condition that he does not enter any B&M store in Cumbria.
