POLICE are investigating the theft of a parcel described as a 'large brown box' from the doorstep of an address on South William Street in Workington.
This occurred on Friday, June 3 at approximately 10:30am.
A police spokesperson said: "The suspect is a white male and was wearing a white jacket with one black stripe across at the top, dark pants, a black beanie hat and appeared to be on the phone at the time.
"The suspect is on the corner of the street for a short period of time before walking past and picking up the parcel.
"He left in the direction of the town centre.

"Officers are appealing information to identify the male."
