A THIEF has appeared in court after stealing five bottles of wine from Marks & Spencer.
Philip Holm, 40, admitted theft from a shop when he appeared before magistrates in Workington on Tuesday.
Holm stole five bottles of wine, worth £47, from Marks & Spencer in Workington on March 16.
The defendant, of Senhouse Street, Workington, was fined £120. He must also pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
