A woman has been banned from getting behind the wheel after she was more than nine times over the drug-drive limit.
Stephanie Moffatt, 30, of Calder Crescent, Cleator Moor, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
She appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Moffatt had been driving a Land Rover on Croft Terrace in Whitehaven, when the offence took place on March 5.
She had 492mcg of Benzoylecgonine (a cocaine breakdown product) per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50mcg.
Moffatt was banned from driving for 12 months. She was fined £120 and must pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
