Overnight road closures are planned for next month.
National Highways has two planned overnight road closures on the A66 at Penrith on the westbound side between the A6 at Kemplay Roundabout and junction 40 of the M6 for resurfacing works.
The closures will take place on Saturday, July 2, between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am.
They will also take place on Saturday, July 9, between the same times.
A diversion will be in place via A686, Beacon Edge, A6 and A592.
Additional road works using lane closures will be in place for road marking renewal on the Junction 40 Skirsgill Roundabout.
Additional works for traffic signals loop cutting will be carried out utilising convoy working during the week of July 11.
