A POPULAR Lake District attraction has raised £12,288 for the UNICEF Ukraine Appeal.
Staff at the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, at Bowness-on-Windermere, were sponsored by directors to walk as far as they could over a 4 week period.
In the energetic undertaking, staff recorded over 6 million steps, which amounts to a similar distance from here to Ukraine and home again.
The Attraction is proudly flying the Ukrainian flag to show support and solidarity following the Russian invasion earlier this year - with staff at taking pride in helping those going through a time of crisis.
A spokesperson from the organisation said: "As a children's Attraction dedicated to Beatrix Potter's stories, it has meant a great deal to all the staff to be able to contribute in such a positive way to help keep vulnerable children and their families safe through the conflict."
