Despite giving Jay the green light to crack on with Paige, Jacques admitted he has ‘never cared’ for anyone but her.
Although fans on social media are throwing Jacques’ genuineness into question, UK bookmakers William Hill have faith in the couple, pricing them at 6-4 to win.
Slowly making their way up the Love Island market are Dami and Indiyah, who enjoyed a romantic date last night, full of sweet nothings.
While their respective exes appeared on Aftersun following the episode, it is clear that the Dublin microbiologist and London waitress are really hitting it off.
And the couple have been backed by fans of the ITV 2 show, and have had their odds slashed to 10-3, placing them as second favourite.
There is trouble in paradise as viewers across the nation watched the cracks deepen in Tasha and Andrew’s formerly solid relationship. Starting out at the top of the market, the couple have dropped to sixth place, tipped 22-1.
The top five couples to win Love Island 2022:
- Jacques and Paige (6-4)
- Dami and Indiyah (10-3)
- Luca and Gemma (7-2)
- Davide and Antigoni (16-1)
- Jay and Paige (18-1)
Tony Kenny, head of sponsorship PR at William Hill, said: “Another week in the villa has gone by and it’s interesting to see just how much the dynamics have changed in just seven days. Favourites Jacques and Paige still appear to be going strong, despite the Jay-shaped tests thrown their way - although some fans on social media have suspicions.
“I think we’re all ready to see what this week has in store for the Islanders, especially for Davide and Ekin-Su. Tonight’s sneak peak suggests it’s going to be a fiery one between the girls, so it’ll be intriguing to see if this will affect the couples.”
