THERE has been a serious crash on the A66 Eastbound, just outside of Stainmore.
Drivers are being warned to avoid the area for the time being.
All emergency services are on the scene including the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).
The incident was first reported by Cumbria Road Watch at 6:08pm (August, 1).

UPDATE 8:00PM : The A66 headed eastbound remains closed for the time being with reports of two air ambulances attending the scene.
