A man assaulted a police officer then failed to surrender to court bail.
Michael Jenkins, 23, care of Moorfield Avenue, Workington, pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker and failing to surrender to police or court bail.
Jenkins, who appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court had assaulted a police officer in Workington on June 26.
Then on July 12, he failed to surrender to custody at Workington Magistrates' Court.
He was fined £140 and must pay £85 costs and a £104 victim surcharge.
