Workington’s Festival of Running is to return to the town after a 2-year delay due to COVID on Sunday 14th August.
Organised with Cumberland Athletic Club, the festival offers people a chance to sign up to run either a 1k, 5k or 10k race.
The 1k fun run will start at 12 noon, is free to enter and the 5k run begins at 12:30pm with the 10k at 1:30pm.
There will also be a refreshment stall, children’s entertainment and the Cumberland Athletic Club will be on hand to give budding runners advice and guidance.
