‘Will clinics’ will be offered for free by a Cumbrian law firm.
Burnetts Solicitors LLP will offer a series of these clinic for free in Cockermouth and Carlisle throughout September, which they say will provide attendees with the opportunity to discuss in confidence any questions they have about wills and powers of attorney.
The clinics are the first events to be held by Burnett’s newly-expanded wills, trusts and probate team, which is now overseen by Mike Nicholls and recently saw the new additions of solicitors Rachel D’Souza and James Worsick, plus the return of probate admin Lucy Wallace following her maternity leave.

Mike said: “People have a lot of questions about wills that they either don’t get round to asking, or don’t like to ask, so our free clinics will offer the chance to get those questions answered and even to get the first steps of writing a will or amending a will underway.
“Our team has grown lately and we’re all very much looking forward to meeting a lot of new people and offering free advice throughout September.
The free full-day clinics will take place at Burnetts’ Cockermouth office on September 6 and 20, and at their Carlisle office on September 13 and 27.
They are open to everyone and no appointment is necessary.
