THE SCORES on the doors are in as new food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 18 of Carlisle’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The scheme gives businesses a rating from 5 to 0, with 5 meaning standards are very good and 0 requesting urgent improvement.
And it's good news for most of the cafes, takeaways, restaurants and pubs as they have all, except one, been awarded the top rating of five.
