Poppy Rowan, of The Source, said: "We're throwing a pride celebration as part of Cumbria Pride month, separate from the main event on September 24.
"We wanted to do something at The Source to rise a bit of cash for the Cumbria LGBT Pride Committee.
"We wanted to gather a list of musicians who were identifying as part of the LGBTQIA + community or who were allies of that community.
"It's just a showcase to show how proud we are of the creatives in Cumbria who do identify as part of that community.
"To help to show of the creativity which may have been inspired by being part of that community or just something that is personal to them."
A band called The Groove Shamen will be performing, an electronica music act alongside Shannon Johnson, an acoustic covers act.
Max Tyler, another electronica act will be performing as well as im-prov and Hannah Rose Kessler who is a solo artist who performs music from a series of genres with a backing track and guitar.
The musicians will be playing alongside an art exhibition which will be taking place at the same time.
Lots of different artists will be coming to showcase their artwork which will be put all over The Source.
The artists will also be on hand to tell their stories and talk to people about their art whilst the music is going on.
People will be coming along dressed in rainbow colours, in keeping with the theme of other pride events.
