FUTURE regeneration plans set to revitalise a Cumbrian town have been discussed with the public in a series of six community workshops.
The Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal Board has held the workshops to discuss the future of Longtown with residents, giving them an opportunity to feed into a Place Plan.
The document will be informed by residents and businesses of the Longtown area, bringing together a range of ideas and projects that can be delivered to regenerate the town.

£3 million has been awarded from the Borderlands Growth Deal to support the Place Plan and capital projects that can help to develop the economy.
The £452 million Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal was signed in March 2021 between the UK and Scottish Government and five councils in the region.
The Place Plan will be complete by the end of the year using input from the six workshops, outlining a 20-year vision for Longtown and identifying projects, programmes and funding sources eligible for Borderlands funding.
