POLICE are looking for a man wearing 'dirty trainers and dark trousers', as part of an investigation into a burglary in the Bishop’s Mill area of Dalston.
It happened on September 2 at about 11.30am to 12pm.
Jewellery, coins and cash were among items stolen from a house.
Police are seeking any witnesses who might have seen a man in the village at about this time, described as white, wearing dirty trainers and dark trousers.
Officers would also like to speak to anyone who has CCTV in the area of Bishop’s Mill.
A man, 41, has been arrested and released under investigation.
Residents, as always, are asked to be vigilant about suspicious activity and to make sure windows and doors are secure when they leave the house.
