A MOTORIST from Carlisle is facing a trial after he pleaded not guilty to an allegation of drink driving.
Stuart Kilgour, 37, of Scotby Close, is alleged to have committed the offence on August 21, the city’s Rickergate court heard. Prosecutors say he was guilty of drink driving while travelling in a vehicle on London Road.
He allegedly had 54mcg of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Magistrates adjourned for a trial which will get underway on January 11 next year. The defendant was granted unconditional bail in the meantime.
