A luxury hotel and spa has launched a package for so-called ‘pet parents’ and their dogs.
A dog-friendly destination, the award-winning Armathwaite Hotel and Spa has reserved several of its luxury bedrooms for dogs and their owners.
With a ground floor location, dog owners can expect direct access to patio areas and gardens with plenty of room to run around, even for the most energetic of pooches.
The Pet Parents Holiday Package includes the hotel’s A La Canine menu, to allow dogs to join their human companions in a luxury dining experience.
The menu, which has been devised by the hotel’s chef, is curated especially for dogs’ dietary needs, and is freshly prepared onsite using only the finest local ingredients, according to the hotel.
Not only that, but owners can order their dog’s food exactly how they think they like it, whether that be hot, cold, wet, or dry.
Each suite has a dog bed, dog treats, and waste bags.
Guests can upgrade their package to include what the hotel calls a ‘doggy welcome pack’, which adds a towel, wipes, a dog bowl and a toy.
Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa’s owner Carolyn Graves said: “It is important to us that our hotel is not only dog friendly, but it also provides our furry friends with a real experience, without compromising luxury.
“We understand that our pooches are a huge part of the family, just like my Belgian Shepherds Kai and Koda.
“We know how difficult it can be to find a dog-friendly hotel that also offers a luxurious guest experience, so we have made it our aim to provide this for both our pet parents and their dogs”.
