A BRAND new American sweet shop has opened up in Carlisle's city centre.
Candy World, situated on Scotch Street, will be open for customers as part of the Lanes Shopping Centre.
The new store is open as of now and is offering members of the public the chance to pop in and get their hands on the ever-increasingly popular American candy - some of which includes sweet treats such as Nerds and Willy Wonka bars.

The Lanes Shopping Centre announced the opening of the new premise on social media today (September 22).
However, members of the public were seen gathering in long lines in eager anticipation to see what the store had to offer on September 17.
