Two lanes have been closed causing queueing traffic due to overturned trailer on M6 Southbound.
The incident occurred between J44 A689 (Carlisle North) to J43 A69 (Carlisle).
Traffic was held between 10.35-11 but now down to one lane as highways agency and emergency services work to clear the trailer.
Cumbria Police are currently dealing with the incident.
Two lanes still remain closed southbound.
