CUMBRIAN building company Story Homes has contributed more than £90,000 to a new play park in Brampton.
Housing builders, Story Homes have given Carlisle City Council £91,164.53 towards an offsite play space at Carlisle Road, Brampton.
Adam McNally, Senior Land and Planning Manager at Story Homes, said: “The S106 payments represent significant investment in local infrastructure as proven necessary to help make our developments sustainable. The homes that we build are part of wider communities, so helping to improve facilities within the local area is very important to us.
“As a Cumbrian rooted business, it’s great to be able to facilitate these improvements and benefits to local residents.”
The S106 payments were made as part of the housebuilders’ developments in the region, which have proven popular with customers due to the high quality homes available that have been designed with flexible, open plan spaces to suit modern day living.
Both local residents and the new homeowners on the developments will benefit from the S106 contributions for years to come.
