A solo art exhibition will allow people to experience landscapes, animals and humankinds through a unique perspective.

Featuring Carlisle-based artist Harvey Tye, it takes place from Tuesday, October 18 to Saturday, October 29, at the Fratry Hall, Carlisle Cathedral.

A spokesperson from Prism Arts said: “Harvey has been working and collaborating within Prism Arts for almost a decade.

“A talented illustrator, he can lend his skills to a wide variety of subject matters.

"His personal favourites explore creatures, both familiar and magical, humans with intricate detail as well as full impact vistas.

“Harvey’s work is always visually impactful, making use of bold lines and strong colour palettes.

“He has an inimitable style that is instantly recognisable, whatever the application of his drawings."

Speaking on the event, Harvey said: “I’m proud and chuffed to have my own solo exhibition.

"I’m looking forward for seeing it all installed.”

The exhibition is open from 9am to 3:30pm daily and is free to enter.
