As a result of rain, a road has been deemed impassable.
The A596 in Maryport is impassable due to flooding between Netherhall Corner and Netherhall School.
There are reports of a vehicle stuck in the flood.
The A596 is reported as only just passable between Ellenbank and Birkby, as vehicles are having to use the centre of the road single-file to get through.
