Police say three fans were arrested at Carlisle United's game at Hartlepool United.
The clubs, meanwhile, are yet to comment on images of damaged seats in the away end after the Blues' 3-1 win.
The Cumbria matchday Police account for Carlisle United posted on Twitter that the 'great support' from the 691 fans was 'marred by the actions of a few'.
"Not great to hear three arrested, ejections and reports of damage to the away stand," they wrote.
Pictures of the damage were widely shared on social media last night following the Blues' 3-1 victory at the Suit Direct Stadium.
Well what a result. Absolutely buzzing with that! Great support marred by the actions of a few. Not great to hear 3 arrested, ejections and reports of damage to the away stand. Hope you had a safe journey home blues! https://t.co/nB5isENYRM

The News & Star has invited Hartlepool to clarify details of the seat damage.
The affected area appeared to be seats at the front of the stand, most of which were not in use during the game and under coverings.
Damage may have been caused during goal celebrations after United scored three times in front of the sell-out away end.
But it has not yet been commented on if some of the seats were already damaged before the game, whether all the damage shown in the images occurred on Saturday, and to what extent any damage was deliberately caused.
It is, though, the latest occasion when Carlisle's visit to Hartlepool has seen reports of such damage.
Last season the Blues "condemned" damage to seating in a disabled area, saying the actions "tarnished the reputation of the club and its fans".
