An incident of reported assault causing a broken nose in a pub is being investigated.
It is reported to have happened in the early hours of October 15 in the William Rufus on Botchergate, Carlisle, according to a public appeal released today (October 17).
The incident involved two men and, according to the police, happened by a sofa.
One man suffered a broken nose during the incident.
