KILLINGTON Lake motorway services have been ranked inthe UK's top ten in a new survey that focused on customer satisfaction.
The survey was conducted by Transport Focus and ranked 119 UK services based on 31,204 respones from customers.
In these results, 97 per cent of customers were overall satisfied with Roadchef's Killington Lake which breaks up the M6 in Kendal, Cumbria.
72 per cent were very satisifed with the services and 65 per cent were also likely to recommend the services to others.
In addition to this, 93 per cent were impressed with the inside of the building, and 98 per cent were satisfied with the facilities' toilets.
In reponse to the survey's positive reflection on Killington Lake services, Mark Fox, chief executive officer at Roadchef said: "Overall, we are pleased with the results of the Transport Focus survey.
"It is good to hear that in general, our customers are very satisfied with the service that we provide and would recommend us to their friends and family.
“Of course, there is always room for improvement, and we are continually looking for new ways that we can innovate and improve our sites so that we can consistently provide the top-quality service that our customers have come to expect from us," he continued.
