THE store manager at Aldi Carlisle has marked 20 years at the supermarket.
Mike Graham joined the company in 2002 as a store assistant at the Penrith branch, where he progressed to deputy store manager, before moving to his current role in 2011.
As well as completing store duties, Mike has also been involved with fundraisers for Aldi’s dedicated charity Teenage Cancer Trust.
Speaking about his long service, he said: “I’ve absolutely loved working at Aldi for the past 20 years.
"I have an amazing team around me who also work incredibly hard every day so I can’t thank them enough for all their support over the years.
“This time of year is my favourite as I love seeing all the Christmas products that start to come into stores. I’m always stocking up on bits for my family and friends which tend to go down incredibly well.”
Sandy Mitchell, regional managing director at Aldi UK added: “Without the hard work and dedication of our store colleagues, we wouldn’t be able to provide customers with the excellent and efficient service we’ve become known for.
“Colleagues like Mike are the cornerstone of our business and I thank him for his continued dedication throughout the last 20 years.”
