CALLING all gin-lovers, the perfect festive flavour is about to hit shelves for a limited time only.
Cumbria's Distilling Company have spent six months perfectly crafting a one-of-a-kind festive spirit, Carlisle Christmas Spirit.
The mesmerising gin, with gold shimmering capturing your gaze, is made up of spiced orange and cranberry flavours which give that instantaneous Christmas feeling with every sip that touches your lips.
This seasons limited edition Christmas gin will land on shelves and bars around Cumbria on October 28 - making it the perfect opportunity to snag a Christmas gift for someone, or perhaps just even yourself.
Cumbria Distilling Company look to "take gin back to how it used to be" offering an extensive range including summer gins, classic gin and a pink gin - all founded by their fresh ingredients, which use the 5 classic botanicals leading with juniper and orange peel.
The distillers, based in Carlisle, have also recently launched Carlisle Vodka this week, which like the rest of the range sits in a beautiful 'Georgian Dome' shaped bottle - based as a representation of much of the city's beautiful architecture.
Local artist, Yvette Earl Illustration, is responsible for the Carlisle-centric artwork featuring on the label.
The distilling group will also be launching a 'John Lewis' style Christmas advert, which will feature members of the Friends of the Turkish Baths Group toasting a Christmas gin to the beloved historic bathhouse in Carlisle.
Mike Little, business development manager, said: "This has been months in the making but the time is here.
"Serve over ice with your favourite tonic and stand magnificently under the mistletoe. There are only a limited number of these available so grab yours when you have the chance!"
This a drink that the business' mixologist Connor Errington recommends as the perfect ingredient in shaping the perfect Christmas Martini.
The Christmas Spirit will be available for £29.99 and Carlisle Vodka at £27.99 and will be available to purchase over bars as well as Lakeland Gifts, Cranstons, Carlisle Cathedral, Pioneer - alongside places further out such as Her Citi in Maryport and The Chopping Block in Penrith.
The Carlisle brand, which aims to be a ‘brand for the people’, has adopted the hashtag #WeareCumbrian – which can be shared when out and about tasting their crisp libations, with the likelihood of your post being shared by the business.
