A CARLISLE man has been prosecuted for illegally possessing a knuckle duster in “a private place.”
Jamie McCluskey, 45, was caught with the weapon at Grierson Road, Carlisle, on July 29, the city's Rickergate court heard.
This was an offence under 1988 Criminal Justice Act. The defendant, of Parkside, Belah, pleaded guilty. He was fined £80 and told to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
McCluskey was represented by defence lawyer Kate Hunter.
