Hospice at Home West Cumbria will be hosting its Light up a Life event at a number of locations this year.
It provides an opportunity for people in the area to come together and remember their loved ones.
This year, after two years of virtual services, it will be a physical event. The Light up a Life service will take place on Sunday, December 4 at 3pm.
The three locations for the service will be St Michael's Church, Workington; St James' Church, Whitehaven and Holy Trinity Church, Millom.
Communications Co-ordinator, Ellie Mcmillan, said: "Our Light up a Life service is for everyone, not just those who have received our care. Across our county, different people, cultures, and faiths have ways to remember loved ones, all different but all with their roots in memory and the importance of not forgetting those we knew and loved.

"We know how important Light up a Life is for many people, and we hope that our service provides some comfort to those who need it.”
The Light up a Life services will include readings from hospice staff and volunteers and choir performances from The Carnegie Singers, Whitehaven Male Voice Choir and Phoenix Singers.
