OKTAYS Fish and Chips on St Nicholas Street has been handed a new food hygiene rating.
The takeaway was visited on Saturday, September 24 by the Food Standards Agency, and following this inspection has been given a new 2 out of 5 hygiene rating.
The inspection concluded that Hygenic handling of food was 'good' and management of food safety was 'generally satisfactory'.
Cleanliness and condition of facilities and building was where improvement was deemed to be necessary.
