A BACKGROUND report is to be prepared on a young Whitehaven man who has admitted an offence of unlawful wounding.
Corey Mean, 23, of Meadow Road, Whitehaven, entered a guilty plea to the allegation when he appeared in the dock at Carlisle Crown Court. It happened on June 7 and the victim was another male.
Judge Nicholas Barker told the defendant that he will be sentenced on December 12. In the meantime, he was granted bail.
