CUMBRIAN Christmas crafts are to feature at a new Carlisle pop-up shop.

A group of Cumbrian crafters have teamed up to provide some Christmas cheer at their new shop which is located opposite Superdrug at The Lanes Shopping Centre.

This Christmas pop-up shop is open everyday from 10am-4pm until Sunday, November 27.

The pop-up shop features a variety of handmade gifts made by Carlisle-based businesses including Emilia's Soaps, EH Decor, All Things Nice by Ashley, The Cuckoo Tree, Manor Barn Organics and The Victorian Candle Co.

The products on offer range from candles and wax melts to hand-painted pottery, jewellery, soaps, decorations and more. 

One local craft business, Victoria Candle Co. was started by Aidan and Ru Blackett in 2019 from their home in Carlisle and spoke about the importance of featuring local business in the pop-up shop.

Ru said: "We really wanted to shine a light on all of the incredible local talent we have right here in Carlisle.

"Our pop-up shop aims to offer something unique, with the goal of making Christmas shopping a bit easier for those hard-to-buy-for loved ones!"
