CARLISLE is the most anxious place to in North-West Cumbria according to new data.
New data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has compiled the happiest places to live in North Cumbria.
The ONS used the results of a national survey which asked people to rate their level of happiness during the 12 months up to March 2022 to give district and borough council areas an average figure.
As part of the annual survey, people were asked to rate their life satisfaction, happiness and anxiety levels out of 10.

In the period between March 2021 and March 2022 Carlisle scored a 3.5 anxiety rating which is higher than any other district in North-West Cumbria.
However, this figures is a fall from the pandemic levels of anxiety in the disrtict.
Allerdale recorded an anxiety rating of of 3.1 whilst Copeland socred 2.7.
