A GROUP of school children have brought some festive cheer to one West Cumbrian railway station.
The children at Flimby Primary School have designed a new Christmas banner that will be displayed at Flimby railway station over the festive period alongside some fresh seasonal wreaths.
The banner was unveiled by staff and some of the children who had their drawings chosen to brighten up the station.
This years theme was Christmas cards which makes all the designs stand out, with the school wanting to pay a special thank you to Northern for funding this wonderful festive banner.
Charlie, Y6 pupil said: "I chose to do Santa as he is known for Christmas. The banner is really good and will make the station look festive."
Tanya Peers, Headteacher is delighted with the look of the banner.
