Cumbrian star Helen Housby has been named in the latest England netball squad for their series against Jamaica.
Housby is in a 16-strong Vitality Roses squad for three games against the Sunshine Girls next month.
It will see Housby, from Drumleaning near Wigton, back in England colours after the autumn series defeat in Australia.
The 27-year-old, who plays for New South Wales Swifts in Australia, will take on Commonwealth Games silver-medallists Jamaica from January 11
England head coach Jess Thirlby said: "As we move closer to the Netball World Cup, this series against Jamaica gives us the opportunity to continue testing our combinations, build on what we’re doing well and implement some of the learnings from a robust autumn series against both Uganda and Australia, having been back in camp through November.
“This series will be a much welcomed and exciting test for us. Jamaica have a hugely talented squad, combining some familiar faces with some new emerging names who we’ll learn more about over the course of the series.”
The full squad is: Imogen Allison, Eleanor Cardwell, Jade Clarke, Sophie Drakeford-Lewis, Funmi Fadoju, Layla Guscoth, Jo Harten, Alice Harvey, Helen Housby, Laura Malcolm, Elle McDonald, Geva Mentor, Natalie Metcalf, Chelsea Pitman, Olivia Tchine, Francesca Williams.
