TV personalities have led the praise for Carlisle born Strictly Come Dancing finalist Helen Skelton.
The TV presenter lost out to Hamza Yassin who won the coveted Glitterball trophy on Saturday's final.
Celebrities referenced her calm dignity and professionalism throughout the dance show despite a high profile break up with husband and Rugby League player Richie Myler.
BBC TV presenter Nick Knowles said: "Fleur is my buddy so wanted her to win & she’s been brilliant throughout - she always gives 100% & I thought Hamza was such a lovely guy I’m happy for him … but I think for the dancing alone tonight & back story I’d have given the title to @HelenSkelton
