EMERGENCY services evacuated a Flimby resident from a house fire on Station Road on Saturday morning.
Three fire engines attended a fire involving a domestic property on Station Road, Flimby at 10.30am December 17.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue said: "Fire fighters led two Persons to safety and extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus.
"Fire crews administered oxygen therapy to two casualties suffering from smoke Inhalation and one casualty was conveyed to hospital."
"Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.
