POLICE were called to Pennine Way in Carlisle after reports of the sudden death of a man in his 40s.
Several police cars and a crime scene investigation van were spotted at the scene.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "Police were contacted on December 22 at 12:55pm to the report of a sudden death of a man in his 40s at an address on Pennine Way, Carlisle.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious.
"The coroner has been informed.”
