LIVERPOOL captain Jordan Henderson has been spotted in Windermere- 'doing his shopping' in the town's Booths store.
30 year old Craig Scott from Egremont spotted the midfielder in the town's Booth's store while visiting the popular Lakes tourism spot.
The much loved England and Liverpool midfielder stopped to take a picture with Craig who described him a 'such a down to earth' and 'humble guy'.
Craig said he didn't know why the footballer as visiting the town but said the meeting was just a case of 'right place right time'.
Henderson has often been England captain in the absence of Harry Kane but had to wait until his 62nd cap for his first goal for his country, scoring in the EURO 2020 quarter-final win over Ukraine.
Henderson featured in five of England's seven EURO 2020 games, including all of the knock-out matches.
He visits Windermere fresh from the World Cup earlier this month after England were knocked out of the competition in the quarter finals by France on December,10.
