A day after scoring the winner for another United, Marcus Rashford spent New Year's Day with the Blues.
The England and Manchester United star was at Carlisle United's game at Doncaster Rovers on January 1.
Striker Rashford, 25, posed for photos with Carlisle fans after being spotted at the Eco-Power Stadium.
His trip to the Doncaster-Carlisle game saw Rashford watch his close friend and old team-mate Ro-Shaun Williams, who was in the home side's defence.
The pair had been junior football team-mates at Fletcher Moss Rangers before coming through Man Utd's academy together.
Williams was named man of the match in Doncaster's 2-1 win over Paul Simpson's Cumbrians.
Rashford has often visited games to keep tabs on his old team-mates, also travelling to Barrow earlier this season to watch Williams as well as the Bluebirds' ex-Man Utd player Tyrell Warren.
His latest visit to South Yorkshire, meanwhile, came after the England World Cup star had hit the winner for Man Utd in their 1-0 Premier Legue victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers on New Year's Eve.
Rashford had been dropped from the Man Utd starting line-up after oversleeping and missing a team meeting.
But Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag praised his response as a substitute at Molineux, saying: "When you miss rules outside the pitch, it can go onto the pitch. He gave the right answer."
Rashford then saw Carlisle lose at Doncaster, with James Maxwell and Kyle Hurst scoring for Doncaster and Kristian Dennis getting a late consolation for the Blues.
