Music plays a key role in Carlisle cultural scene and 2023 is no exception with something for everyone scheduled for the coming 12 months.

From world-renowned stars to upcoming bands, punk rock to classical music, Carlisle is the place to be for music lovers in 2023.

On January 10, the Brickyard will play host to band British Lion, featuring Steve Harris, primary songwriter and founder of iconic rock band, Iron Maiden.

British Lion last played live in the UK at this year’s Download Festival to a packed Dogtooth Stage following a headline pub & club tour of late 2021.

News and Star: At the Old Fire Station, one of the most compelling and consistent rock and soul artists in the UK, Roachford, is bringing his whole band in early March for a special show in support of independent music venues.

Happy Monday’s member and Celebrity Gogglebox star, Bez, is bringing his show to the Old Fire Station for an evening of chat about his career and colourful personal life.

News and Star: Spandau Ballet star turned actor Martin Kemp is also set to perform at the Old Fire Station in June with his 80s DJ set.
