A presentation about how the covid lockdowns affecting life on the railways is to be shown at a Carlisle venue.
There will be a showing of Railway Diaries 2020-21 by Brian Irwin at the ex-servicemen’s club on Albert Street in Carlisle on Tuesday, January 17 from 7pm until 10pm.
Railway Diaries 2020-21 is a record of how the railway looked during the pandemic across Cumbria and beyond.
The presentation has been organised by the local group ‘steamale’ who put on railway related talks, slide shows and film nights in Carlisle.
They meet on the third Tuesday of the month and are like minded enthusiasts about all things rail related.
Future talks are being organised with topics including the privatisation of the railways.
Entry to the presentation costs £3 which includes sandwiches.
