An "epic" Cumbrian golf course has been hailed as one of the best in England.
Silloth-on-Solway is named in the top 20 English courses in a survey by Today's Golfer magazine.
The links course is rated 20th in their feature of England's 100 best courses.
The course, which has hosted some top national championship events over the years, has long been regarded as one of the jewels in Cumbria's golfing crown.
It continues to attract praise, with one panellist for the Today's Golfer survey describing it as "rugged, raw and really good".
"An epic links that is every inch a World Top 100 course," the magazine's Silloth citation adds.
Today's Golfer says it asked its panellists to play the courses under consideration for their top 100 list.

Courses are market on design, setting, memorability, playability, consistency and presentation.
Silloth is not the only Cumbrian course to make the top 100.
Seascale is rated the 79th best in England, described as as "fabulous, fabulous links that is bundles of fun and has a handful of world-class holes. Enjoyable, quirky, very entertaining and great value."
In the top 200, meanwhile, Appleby comes in at number 115, with panellists saying: "Moorland of rare entertainment and charm. Sheep keep the springy turf in perfect order. The short 15th, ‘Dell’, is majestic."
Brampton is rated 142nd, described as "scenic and interesting. It’s not especially long but the routing maintains your interest and puts a premium on accuracy, and it has a handful of top 50-calibre holes."
In 168th place is Windermere, with panellists saying: "The setting is as delightful as you would assume, but what really sells Windermere are its unique, quirky holes."
Carlisle Golf Club is 176th: "Less moorland than near neighbour Brampton, so not as good all-year-round, but this remains a fine parkland with several outstanding holes."
Multiple Open Championship host Royal St George's in Kent is ranked as England's best course.
