A MOTORIST has been banned from driving for three years after he failed to give a breath sample.
Mark Green, 38, pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to provide specimen for analysis when he appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court.
The offence took place in Whitehaven on December 17.
Green, of Eskett View, Arlecdon, Frizington, was banned from driving for 36 months, to be reduced by 36 weeks, if he completes a course.
He was given a 12-month community order with 60 hours of unpaid work and must also pay £85 costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
