Chris Harris has been named in Scotland's Six Nations squad - putting him in line to face fellow Cumbrian Steve Borthwick's England team.
Former Carlisle Rugby Club player Harris was today named in Gregor Townsend's 40-man squad.
The announcement comes ahead of next month's opening game which sees Carlisle-born Borthwick take charge for the first time in the Calcutta Cup clash with the Scots.
Centre Harris, a mainstay of the Scotland squad in recent years, is chosen among the backs and is set to add to his 39 caps.
The Carlisle-born player is joined by four uncapped players in Townsend's squad.
