A Cumbrian legal firm will host a grievance masterclass next month.
Described as ‘perfect for HR professionals and anyone who deals with people management’, the free masterclass will pay homage to the grumpy One Foot in the Grave character Victor Meldrew, involving humourous roleplay to cover all the basics of conducting grievances, and some of the most commonly made mistakes and tricky areas.
Hosted by Burnetts and taking place at The Auctioneer in Carlisle from 9:30am until noon on Thursday, February 9, the interactive session will aim to give delegates the legal knowledge and practical skills necessary to confidently manage grievances within their organisation.
The event will be led by Cumbrian employment law specialist Anna Lovett, who said: “Managing grievances can be overwhelming and problematic, so our aim for this event is to equip those attending with the knowledge to deal with these procedures competently and confidently.
“It will be enjoyable and entertaining but most importantly – highly informative.
“Our last event was a sell-out, so we encourage anyone who wants to come to book their place ASAP.”
