Officers will be patrolling the area of a park after smashed glass bottles caused a girl to become injured.
The injury happened on the play equipment at St Mungos Park in Aspatria on Sunday, January 15.
It is reported that glass bottles were smashed on the ground of the play park and placed on the equipment.
The girl suffered injuries requiring butterfly stitches.
Officers will be patrolling the area over the weekend, visiting local schools, and working with the local council.
