LANDLORDS of a popular Penrith hotel and pub have announced they will be calling last orders for good later this year.
The Agricultural Hotel, owned by Wendy and Gary, announced on social media that they will cease trading on June 4, on the back of 20 years of trading.
The business is urging anyone who purchased gift vouchers to use them before the end of May.
In a statement on social media, they said: "We have come to the decision as some of you may already know after 20 years we have decided not to sign the lease for the Agricultural Hotel.
"Which results in us ceasing trading on June 4 and closing the door.
"Can we take this opportunity to thank all our regulars and locals that have got us through some tough times and stuck by us.
"But, it is time for us to slow down and find something less demanding as we have been in the hospitality sector now for over 25 years.
"Lastly a big thank you to PFK for being such good landlords to us for the past five years through some difficult times.
"Wishing everyone all the best for the future," they said.
